I am a TERRIBLE Blogger!

I know...I know...I say it every post, but this time I admit, I am the worst blogger EVER! But if you had my crazy life, you would find it hard to update this thing too! For those of you that I haven't talked to since I started my new job, I LOVE IT! I have 23 kids in my homeroom and 24 in my math class (I teach 6th grade math to 5th graders)...to those of you that know me this is probably funny to you! I find my job challenging, rewarding, exciting, frustrating, exhausting, and humorous and that is normally all before the bell rings in the morning! I am learning so much from my kids and I hope I am teaching them a few things too :) I truly believe that I have the best job in the world (besides being a mom to the cutest and sweetest little girl ever and wife to an amazing husband)! About that little girl, she doesn't even seem little anymore :( She is so independent and hard-headed (Hmmmm I wonder where she gets this?). She is in the full-blown toddler stage and there is NO holding her back! She loves Melmo (adult translation Elmo) and Memo (adult translation Nemo) and she is very into scaring everyone...BOO! While at dinner the other night, she turned around and BOOed the man behind her! He thought it was hilarious and said it back...what a good sport! She loves to be outside and tried to go down the slide backwards yesterday...as you can imagine this did not go as she planned. Her vocabulary is growing daily and she probably has 20 or so words (that are recognizable). My favorite other than mommy is thank you :) As for the husband, he is spending a lot of much needed time at home before he leaves for overseas. He is enjoying his Journey time, there is something about a daddy-daughter relationship that just melts your heart. He is so good with her. I came home the other day and he was so excited to show me the new word he had taught her...I thought it would be something profound naturally, he said Journey say "Poo-Poo"...and she said it! So now my child knows poo-poo...thanks dad! I also recently had the opportunity to perform (cheer) at the halftime of my high school's football game. My former cheer coach coordinated an Alumni Night and it was a blast! There were cheerleaders from 1960-2010. I was able to catch up with old friends and make a few new ones. I attached a pic of that night...I am pretty sure I still look the exact same (has to be the bow)! As for the new house, we are pretty much settled in. We LOVE it, LOVE the neighborhood and we just couldn't be happier. Well that's what has been happening in our lives lately. Below are some recent pics...Enjoy and I hope your fairytale is as wonderful as mine!
